Bryan Fischer, a radio host for the American Family Association, has stirred up news by implying gays should be thrown in prison, pulling back, and then implying it again. Yesterday he posted this on his blog:
Think for a moment of the current social controversies that could potentially be avoided if homosexual conduct was still against the law.
Gays in the military: problem solved. We shouldn’t make a place for habitual felons in the armed forces. End of discussion, end of controversy…
Gay marriage: problem solved. We should never legalize unions between any two people when the union is forged specifically to engage in felony behavior…
Gay indoctrination in the schools: problem solved. We don’t want to raise a generation of schoolchildren to believe that felony behavior is perfectly appropriate…
Hate crimes laws: problem solved. We wouldn’t throw a pastor in jail for saying that illegal behavior is not only illegal but also immoral…
Special rights for homosexuals in the workplace: problem solved. No employer should be forced to hire admitted felons to work for him…
This list could actually be extended, but you get the point.
Yeah, Bryan, I get the point. You know how else you avoid all these pesky civil rights controversies? If we were all killed. And it would be a lot less expensive. Of course, that’s just crazy sensationalist homosexual blogger propaganda. Except that the American Family Association still hasn’t denounced Uganda’s Kill-the-Gays-and-Kill-their-Friends legislation. Write them and ask for a press release.
Let’s suppose Fischer doesn’t actually want to kill us. He just wants us in prison. What other issues could we solve this way?
- We could cure obesity by imprisoning overeaters.
- We could save on handicapped ramps by imprisoning paraplegics.
- We could resolve VA care by imprisoning veterans.
- We could stop child labor by imprisoning children.
- We could reduce single-parent families by imprisoning widows.
The possibilities are endless. Give it a try.
Brilliant! Let’s solve all our problems this way!
Majoritarianism is awesome as long as you’re in the majority.
We could end all wars by imprisoning military and religious leaders.
What the hell is wrong with you people? Your all very screwed up.
I only wish majoritarianism were legal. Here’s some fascinating information that empowers real people to overrule corporate “persons”:

Slavery is the “legal” fiction that people are property.
Corporate personhood is the “legal” fiction that property is a person.
Sounds as though he is just two steps behind Hitler with the pink triangle patches and tha camps (what can you expect when the Cheney and Yoo justified torture).
Bryan Fischer is well-known in Idaho. To some he is a hero of “family values,” but to many he is a living, breathing example of what is wrong with America. Fischer is the pitchman for contempt and the poster boy for intolerance. The man’s obsession with and hatred of homosexuals is well documented, but recently he has been gaining national attention.
How did he get there?
Reporters and editors in Idaho rolled over and let Fischer state his contempt for gays on a regular basis without a single hard question or investigation into his motives or “facts.” The Idaho news media was essentially his personal public relations firm.
If Fischer’s profile had not been so elevated by Idaho media, perhaps he would not now be the national poster boy for anti-Muslim racism, criminalizing gays and an embarrassment to Idahoans.

I have always thought that people of low intelligence should be imprisoned for our protection.
The only problem is that then we would have just a one party system!
No, Joe. Then we’d have no government at all.
Bryan Fischer is a close-minded twat.
