OH that gave me a good belly laugh. Don’t they know that it’s the gays that make things cool? It’ll be ten years before it’s cool for straights again. Like goatees.
I’m reminded of an old algebra teacher I had who was desperately trying to push the whole “Math is cool!” thing on us.
Needless to say it backfired, so this sort of thing is definitely encouraging.

And while we are at it, let’s read the Book of Ruth again. With husbands and sons dead, Ruth and Naomi forge a bond that is stronger than family and bind together to achieve ends greater than what each of them is capable of in a patriarchical tribal society. They worked within the limits of tradition, but exceeded its boundaries.
