Hey Denise, it’s satire, mockery of people who think a little boy shouldn’t want to be a fairy or pastry chef. What makes this all the more spot-on as satire is that some people out there would regard these as perfectly good ways of dealing with an androgynous kid. And if you watch it again, you see deeper layers and how each of these costumes is a way of keeping people in the closet (including drenching them with blood).
