Worst: early san francisco freezing mist that bit like a million tiny wet mocking blades
Best: the unofficial pie stop run by sweet volunteer ladies
Biking along the ocean in beautiful sun with blessed tailwinds
The riderless bike procession at opening ceremonies (choked up)
Embarassing moment: coming up on a local fair and having some girl shout “let’s do the pony rides!” And i shout back “yeah because my ASS isn’t SORE enough ALREADY!” Only to round the bend and see all the grandparents with their grandkids.
Each day, I look forward more and more to the LifeCycle ride! Keep up the great work, and keep biking through all the lactic acid buildup!!
