Will and I went to a victory rally last night in West Hollywood. One of the lawyers on the Prop 8 team is a friend of mine, and we got to hang out with him and his boyfriend (and other friends, too). Now often do you get to be proud that a friend is a lawyer. (Scott doesn’t like this pic, and it actually is a pretty mediocre shot of him, thank god; being photographed with Scott tends to be humbling experience.)
Here’s Scott and another attorney from the case, Abbey. She’s pretty fierce. Don’t mess with her.
Finally, here’s one of the perks of victorious court case: you get to have cake, even if you’re on a diet. Actually, we’d have had cake either way. I’m just happy it was celebration cake rather than consolation cake.
